Question: What is your favorite type of book?

Sci Fi and Fantasy! I read George RR Martin *before* Game of Thrones was a TV show, I love Robert Jordan (he did Wheel of Time, great series that was so long the author died while he was writing it and Brandon Sanderson had to finish the series off), Iain M Banks (his books are totally crazy but I love the utopian society known as “The Culture”), Lois McMaster Bujold (A proper good spacer opera author, plus she does some fantasy too), Elizabeth Moon (more space opera – soldiers and privateers in space! Also, a great fantasy author – who doesn’t like a paladin now and then?), Patrick Rothfuss (wow, what a great series with only 3 books so far!), J K Rowling (ok, I hope you know what she wrote lol), Seanan Mcguire (she does some *awesome* urban fantasy about the kingdom of faerie in modern day USA, and some scary post-apocalyptic post-zombie-invasion sci fi under the pen name Mira Grant )…. I could keep on listing for ages and ages. I actually met my husband online on a forum for Robert Jordan fans! We’ve been married for nearly 14 years now 🙂
