That’s a really, really good question! I don’t really know what my answer would be – loads of our cells have really specialised jobs and that all comes with complications… Nerve cells are pretty amazing (the longest one in your body goes from your hip to your toe – one cell!), but the chemistry of red blood cells is awesome too. White blood cells can produce the chemical equivalent of guided missiles and there are cells in your heart that produce their own electricity… Nope, I can’t choose one 🙂
