I’ve been mentally umming and ahhing, wondering how to answer this question, and wondering if I am good? lol. I really love working in science, but I think where I work is a combination of putting my head down and working hard, as well as luck. I’m lucky that my parents were well educated and encouraged me to study, I’m lucky to be born into a first-world country (I was born in New Zealand), and I am lucky I was able to afford to go to uni. Getting good at anything probably requires a mixture of practice, working hard, and a nice dash of luck won’t harm anything either.
